It actually only happens on Yule or the Winter Equinox. There are gathering places used by the Indian where on a clear day you can also watch the sun walk up the mountain.

We are the caretakers for this planet and so far we are doing a really sucky job. I feel that we should do all we can to fix the damage that was done. So yes I feel that we should be caring for the birds in the best way possible. And sometimes the best care we can give is to let them painlessly pass over.
