I have not been to either Disney World or Disney Land, but I have been to Disney Land Paris (I grew up in Europe). The Small World ride there is a wonderful statement (?) for world unity and while I can understand upgrades of the ride for safety sake, I cannot understand the need to update with current Disney characters. The ride is probably the most famous (yes,yes...teacups, too)....why mess with a classic?

I was in the second grade and don't really remember much about anything that happened in school. It was after school when I got home that the image of the "Y" in white smoke will be forever the reminder. I few years later, in the 6th grade, when another shuttle was launched, every classroom had a TV to watch it live. I remember watching my homeroom teacher silently praying to herself for a successful launch. I believe it was.

The Humpback Whales video is awesome! This is a great toy.....you can watch the videos over and over at different angles and never get bored! Thanks for the posting!

Just like the 23 year old guy on the Today show that chose to get a vasectomy, I say good. If having children is selfish, then I think the world is better off not having the offspring of this woman and her husband. She would teach them the same values that she possesses, which, as far as I am concerned, is selfishness. Not having children to maintain a figure, maintain your income for yourself, and/or not allow yourself the opportunity to mold a young mind for the next generation.....selfish.....

Um...this is a normal ride at all festivals in Europe. It is a must ride every time you go....the operator can control how the bench rotates and also the can lock it so that is spins on just the arms, with you hanging upside down....it is so much fun....especially at Oktoberfest!
