My family and I visited Hamburg this past summer and spent almost three hours at Miniatur Wunderland. It was incredible, although very crowded. We had a great time looking for all the quirky details, like the scuba diving cows.

Yeah, saw this in my local paper this morning... it's not a joke, much as I wish it was. Self obsessed morons. And their dad is a lawyer who was on their "legal team." They asked $50,000 in damages for emotional distress. Baloney. It was all about the distress and financial burden caused to the mom over two years of litigation.

I wonder what cities would come up on this list if we looked at library circulation numbers per capita? I'm fortunate enough to live in a city with a fantastic library system (http://ebranch-prod.columbuslibrary.org/libraryoftheyear), so I don't actually BUY all that many books, and I subcribe to magazines independently of an e-tailer like Amazon. Could be a different list.
