Nobody wants to be associated with Randy Quaid anymore. He lost his mind over ten years ago and has been publicly making an ass of himself ever since. He can't get a bit part in a movie now he's been banned from the actor's guild for being an abusive turdwaffle. The only companies that would give him the time of day are garbage entities like newsmax and infowars, fascist whackadoodles.
They're trying to say that the entire watch is hand made lol. The movement is a mass produced Miyota 8n24 that runs about 50 bucks if you're just buying one retail. $579 dollars is not an expensive watch, not by a long shot, but it's a complete ripoff for this thing. This should be MAYBE 100-120 dollars tops.
"This is far from unique, though, as many media outlets rely on their graphics departments (or maybe an intern) to make charts instead of data scientists." The idea that huge, multi Billion dollar media outlets just accidentally do this sort of thing because of a silly intern is laughable. This is by design with specific intent to manipulate the viewer while maintaining plausible deniability. They have whole teams of highly paid and highly qualified scumbags to specifically do this sort of crap. If your media group and it's advertisers are big and rich enough to be lobbying congress this is the kind of shenanigans you end up with.
LG has had OLED tv's with 120hz refresh rates for at least a couple years. They even have them with G-Sync or Free-Sync and with a response time of 1ms, up to 77 inches. This is nothing special and not especially neat.
I have often heard people arguing that since everyone has a cell phone with a camera now that we should be flooded with high quality UFO photos. This always makes me laugh, and this article illustrates why. Cell phone cameras, until very recently, take horrible pictures of objects in the sky at any reasonable distance. This new Samsung may be better at it, but for most of us if you took a picture of a flying saucer that was clear as day to your own eyes with your phone, you'd end up with a washed out white shape with no definition whatsoever, just like the Iphone shot of the moon.
