This is one of those things where you just put the blooming thing in your pocket/purse/wherever and leave it there until you get parked somewhere. Not everybody is as 'smart' or as obviously well versed in multi-tasking as Elnots so let's just leave the phones sitting until you find a pkg spot. (I am wayyyyyyyyy beyond being able to multi-task so the phone stays put in the car and not in my hand.) Geeeeeez, if nothing else, hand it to a passenger if you have one. If it is that private, wait until you are somewhere else. It doesn't really have a thing to do with being able to text and drive, it has to do with setting that temptation to the side for a few minutes.
