My family and I love doing things "half-scratch," which means we take a premade/prepackaged product and enhance it. My aunt makes a half-scratch stuffing of Stovetop cooked then baked with sausage and walnuts. So good!
Miss Cellania, have you seen Moon with Sam Rockwell? I haven't seen Gravity, tho I want to, but when you mentioned the "shockingly small cast" I immediately thought of Moon. Give it a look. It is super good!
Cell minutes used to placate wife: $15.23 Divorce if wife not placated: Half of everything. Expression on guys face when young lady whispers suggestively into the phone: Priceless!
I think everyone has the right to their opinions and thoughts, and I feel that if Waterson wants to give up cartooning for what ever reason, I say "Thank you for the joy that is/was Calvin and Hobbes, and good luck in all your future endeavors." If he wants to stand up and talk about his decision and why, people can listen or not, take the suggestions or not as they wish; we all have a choice. And while Gavin Aung Than has every right to his opinions/thoughts, why go back to 1990 to dredge this up? Yes I know that history is ripe with cartoon fodder, but it just seems like he is trying a bit too hard.
That is just my opinion... you can take it or leave it. :-)
I want to smack people who comment on other peoples' pudge! Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with a bit o' pudge as long as it doesn't impede a person's life style. I think the medical community as a whole is greedy and know they can make money off people desperate to lose weight (convinced by advertisers that you have to be skinny to be sexy). Also, I think that there is this idea that if it is unhealthy for one person, or even a small group, then it must be unhealthy for all!
