I'd probably notice. We recently took out the broken timer dial wired to our attic fan and it had the date (1969) written on the back of the plate. It's kind of nice to know installation dates at the very least.

My husband and I sleep in the same bed, but on different shifts. I work days and he works nights, so he goes to bed as I'm getting up. It actually works out quite well for us, except that it gets tricky when we go on vacation together.

When I was a kid, we had the Mr. Potatohead kit that we used with a real potato. I'm guessing that it was a thrift store or garage sale purchase, but still. I remember that it wasn't easy to push the pieces through the skin of a potato.
