There's a reason behind it....this song is usually sung in local bars where a lot of Pinoys retire after hard work during the day. My Way is song of choice, because, well, it's kinda easy to sing, and the words, not difficult. That, added to the fact that most of these singers are too drunk to realize they're hogging the microphone, results to a very deadly outcome. It's not a myth, nor a superstition. It happened. Quite a few times.
this is sick...couldn't the elephant been beautiful enough without being personified? and what's the motivation for the elephant to dunk the balls----escape from being punished afterwards? sick.
let me describe it...had it a few times when i was a kid, growing up in southeast asia....
it is definitely fatty in a fishy, smelly way. my mom used to cook it in strong vinegar and soy sauce. add in some onions and ginger (to keep the smell bearable). basically jello-like, some parts with fish meat still clinging to it and definitely very juicy.
won't eat it now though. balut...now that's different.
i cant believe people actually have their undies in a bunch over this innocent video...sheesh...and to say that it's all "kinda dumb"? it's a kid being a kid!

in the philippines, karaoke is just as everywhere as it is in korea or japan. one thing though, never sing "my way" by sinatra. it has been known that people get shot or stabbed singing the song. reasons are usually because of terrible singing, singing it over and over again or maybe, the song just makes other drunk people around you want to kill. you choose. but i am not kidding.
