Thanks, Alice !

Useful information ! I love the Internet !

Pardon my typical American ignorance, so does that mean that every appliance is separately fused ? Sounds safer. Why don't WE do that ?

My, my, those Europeans certainly have large plugs, don't they ?

I'm of two minds about this one: my anal side hates cord clutter, but my paranoid side would worry about concealing wear and tear, especially after removing one end to thread the beads.

Guess I'll have to pass...

I don't own a dog, but all the previous posters seem to indicate that their dogs gack up foreign objects fairly quickly.

This article claims that objects remained in this dog's digestive tract for several years.

How ? Any suggestions ? This sounds like crap to me...no pun intended.

I may be showing my ignorance, but I'm having some trouble with the physics involved here.

Vests are a rigid, planar surface that form fits to the body. If you're talking about a blazer that drapes, wouldn't the kinetic energy of a bullet compress the space between you and the jacket with painful results?

I mean, if you beat a suspended carpet, it doesn't just absorb the force without moving.

Sounds fishy to me...

Great looking stuff! They should film the next Bond movie in one of those houses.

As an aside, though, I went to art school and I hate all that phony "art-speak" about "creating tension with its environment". Fine artists are as bad as politicians for obscurant language that covers up the fact that they're full of crap.

Here's an unpopular opinion (surprise!).

Based solely on the scant info from the article, remember...If you can call the witnesses cowards for not intervening, how should you react to someone on their hands and knees licking your feet? Seems like a singularly vulnerable position to me...

Ditto, Von Skippy.

"This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere! Tell me again, how sheep's bladders can be employed to prevent earthquakes."

Often the comments are much funnier than the posts.

I'll have to go with Ninjae(?), myself.
Ascetic and vigorous training vs. guys who couldn't handle a real Navy? But can Ninja fight at sea? This mobile at least puts them on an even playing field!

Yeah, I know...I'm just putting off vacuuming.
