It used to be said that poinsettias were poisonous, but our little dog ate one I planted down to the ground--flowers, leaves, stalks and all--and didn't even throw up. Of course, he trained on toys, napkins, shoes, crayons, and anything else he could sink his teeth into.

My 21-year-old granddaughter recently saw Star Wars--The Force Awakens. It was her FIRST Star Wars movie. I had no idea that my daughter had so terribly deprived her own daughter.

They were lucky to get out of that alive and unhurt!
