yeah, but Kim represents all of us who are married. a rather stupid broad brush of a comment. also, why do gays want to use a rite that is deemed sacred in the church considering that most gays don't like the church for their stance on gays?

at Jason - so are you saying gays ARE ok with the stance of the church in regards to their lifestyle? why would anyone want to be involved in a rite of an establishment that doesn't respect them?

@Mark - It has nothing to do with the church. It has to do with legality. It is the people and the government that can't seem to separate these two entities. There are PLENTY of churches that would gladly allow GLBT weddings, but without the government recognition, they still have no rights for and with each other.
