Pistorius Races Horse in Qatar
When I first heard about this, I imagined South African runner Oscar Pistorius doing the Viggo Mortensen role in the movie Hidalgo. But no, he wasn't on the horse, he raced against the horse! The stunt was to promote the “Definitely Able” campaign, which showcases the abilities of disabled athletes. You may recall that Pistorius was the first double-leg-amputee to run track in the Olympics as well as the Paralympics. And the race in Qatar? It wasn't even close.
