This Cat Really Enjoys Eating Birthday Cake

Birthday cake is a really big deal when we're little kids, but as we get older it tends to lose its appeal and ends up shoved to the back of the table behind all the presents.

Decades later, when the presents stop being such a big deal and we don't eat desserts on a daily basis, the cake suddenly becomes a star again, a slice of sugary heaven that makes our age more bearable.

Humans tend to take birthday cake for granted, but for cats the cake is always a welcome treat, especially when it's covered in salmon mousse frosting.

So the next time you're feeling a bit down about your birthday think about all the pleasure this cute little kittie got from a piece of birthday cake and enjoy your big day!

I just now had a cat climb in my lap. It wasn't because she wanted a cuddle; it was because I was eating chip dip made of sour cream.

I make cake frosting from cream cheese, and store the cake in the refrigerator. It's a good thing, because the cats might be all over it!

There is still plenty of dairy in frosting. The weird one is some cats like to lick powdered donuts, although that might still come down to oils in the donuts.
