Starfish Tries to Steal Fish's Cave

The industrious mudskipper is building a home. He sucks in mouthfuls of sand, then spits them out away from the rock. Soon, a cozy cave forms.

The starfish thinks that he can simply take the house away. It's just a matter of sliding in, like your friend who invites himself over to your house and then won't leave, even when you put on your pajamas and get ready for bed.

It's not a mudskipper but rather some species of watchman goby. They dig burrows which they share with certain species of shrimp, so if the seastar can manage to grow three more legs he may be able to sneak by.

For all the drama surrounding the burrow, I must say that the drifting vertical fish at the beginning are more fascinating

I would skip the flea circus altogether and poison the hell out of them. They are vermin, and I have no reason to want them alive, even for my own entertainment.

I did see a fascinating show on Victorian life that had a whole segment on flea circuses. As much as I admire the creativity, I can't help but think that fleas are better off dead.

Flea circuses are a well-known hoax. Why in hell would you spend three months training a creature people can barely see, only for it to die three months later - when you can get the exact same effect by using magnets and shellacked flea carcasses glued to the end of a wire?
