We Can Learn Some Important Life Lessons From Cats
Humans may worship cats nowadays like they're little furry gods but cats haven't always had it that easy.
Sure the Ancient Romans, Greeks, Persians and Egyptians saw them as gods too, and a few other cultures have revered the almighty cat for their feline virtues.
But while they were singing the cats praises everyone else was swinging them around by the tail and tossing them, so cats had to become even craftier to stay alive on the streets.
They learned a trick or two about survival, defense and the art of keeping cool in a hair raising situations.
People can learn a lot of important life lessons from cats, lessons that will change the way we look at the world.
A cat knows just how to kiss up to someone who cooks, ensuring their belly is full by keeping the suppliers of food happy.
And when necessary cats know how to defuse a violent situation by kissing up once again.
In fact, kissing up is one of the best ways to get by in life.
But when the claws need to come out, and hissing gives way to some good old fashioned scrapping, it's important to know how to fight.
Try to be graceful when you strike, and dodge as many blows as you can by staying light on your feet.
And if you find yourself faced with overwhelming odds do the right thing and run for it!
The flipside of war is love, and cats have proven themselves to be masters of seduction. They know how to rub people the right way.
Their powers of seduction are so strong they can convince a natural enemy to become their friend.
And when they're feeling especially charming they can even convince their prey to give them a kiss.
Cats are truly the ultimate lovers, and the ultimate fighters, but what's the payoff after all that frisking and fighting?
A hearty meal, that's what, and despite what the hawks and doves say food is the most important part of a good life.
But cats are no mere foodies, they're the connoisseurs of the animal kingdom
And they're also sparkling dinner conversationalists
