Cats and Toilet Paper

If you’re a cat. discovering the toilet paper roll is a true epiphany. You can sink your claws into it nicely. It moves! And moving it round and round makes a nice pile of stuff to play with on the floor.

This is the biggest exception to the “over the top” rule of hanging toilet paper. If your cat gets in the habit of doing this, having the paper roll out underneath, while not keeping it from being shredded, will at least keep the entire roll off the floor.
