Florida Sheriff's Office Received Rugs That Read "In Dog We Trust"

Whether you believe in a higher power or not there’s no question that most American motto which graces decor in government offices across the country is supposed to read "In God We Trust".

However, a sheriff's office in Pinellas County, Florida must have received their rugs from an ancient Canine-ite, because instead of that classic motto they read “In Dog We Trust”.

These doggone rugs cost the office $500 apiece, which is quite a hefty price to pay for a rug that will most likely be peed on by the furry followers of the almighty Dog. However, this shaggy rug story has a happy ending, because those typo rugs are now being auctioned off to benefit the CanineEstates sanctuary in Palm Harbor, Florida.
