Puppy Keeps Cheetah Cub Company During Surgery

Two months ago, Miss Cellania posted about the pairing of Raina the Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy and Ruuxa the cheetah cub at the San Diego Zoo. The pup was matched with the cub to help socialize him in the absence of his mother, who rejected him after he was born.

Ever since the two met, they've been constant companions. Recently, Ruuxa was diagnosed with a growth abnormality in his front legs that necessitated surgery to prevent future complications with his mobility.
