Who says cats don’t express happiness when their owners have been gone awhile? Finn the rag doll cat is excited that Nick is coming home from a military drill that took him away for some time. This scenario was delayed a bit to see how the cat reacts, so be patient. The door will open eventually. -via Daily Picks and Flicks

What I noticed was that the soldier was more interested in hugging the
cat than his wife. There's a story there somewhere.

That was sweet! I loved the greeting song (purring) the cat gave him.

In all probability, the guy's wife already said 'hello' before they let the cat see 'daddy'.
