Mama Bear Takes Charge
Ricky Forbes pulled over on the highway through Kootenay National Park in British Columbia when they saw a baby bear on the side of the road. They did not know that mama bear was on the other side of the concrete barrier with baby bear’s sibling. Mama pops her head up, looks both ways, and hauls the errant youngster over the barrier back to the safety of the forest.
