Worldwide Woofs

Artist and physicist James Chapman explains how dogs around the world sound in 14 different languages with Worldwide Woofs, a print available at Etsy. He also has a chart for birds chirping in their native tongues for sale. On his Tumblr blog, you can see similar posters for horses, mice, ducks, pigs, and other animals, all making noises in various languages. maybe they will be available for sale in the future. This is my favorite:

In Dutch "blaf" means bark and "woef" is (pronounced the same as) woof.
The German frog sound is the same in Dutch, by the way :)

You missed the Cajun "ouaouaron', the sound of, and name for bullfrog. A lot more onomatopoeic that the standard French "grenouille".

in turkish, it is not hev, it is hav. and sounds like how (considering pronounciation)
