This Guy Saved A Drowning Wallaby

Mick Hussin was on vacation in New South Wales when he saw a baby wallaby being chased by a pack of dogs. The joey ran right into a creek, where it quickly started drowning in the current.

Fortunately, Hussin is a friend to wallabies and he just happened to have learned CPR a few weeks before that. So he jumped into action, pulling the little guy from the water and even giving it CPR by turning his hand into a funnel so he could actually get air into the tiny guy's lungs. After about ten minutes, the wallaby started to move one of its paws and then it spit up the water in its lungs.

Hussin then wrapped the joey in a blanket and brought it to a local wilfelife rescue named WIRES. The group says the critter is recovering well and will be released back into the wild in a week or so.
