You could probably still run one down, though... humans are special that way. Cheetahs have to recover after their short sprints.

It doesn't look like those four paws are evenly spaced, though. I bet it bounds a long way.

A stride is the distance between paw prints of the same foot, so you would only have to look six feet or so for the next print. On the other hand, tracking a cheetah would generally be unadvisable.
