Not every animal in Australia is out to kill you. Meet the quokka, a marsupial that resembles a rodent and hops like a bunny, native to Rottnest Island and a few other islands off the southwest coast. I wonder if all of them look this happy? Link

The quokkas are very friendly on Rottnest Island, almost tame.
There are many signs up around the place warning you not to feed them and definitely don't take them home!
Maybe if the National Parks and Wildlife Service bred them for pets, they'd be an instant success?
