Raked Leaves Labyrinth

(Photo: Joanna Hendrick)

Joanna Hendrick is a student at Sacramento State University. She recently made this labyrinth out of raked gingko leaves for people who would like to meditate during the stressful final exam period. From her photos, it looks like some students took advantage of the opportunity.

I don't understand how there are still leaves on that gingko tree? They're known for being a species that loses all of their leaves on the same day. And if there are several gingkos near each other, they'll all lose their leaves within a day or so of each other.

The girl in red had the most fascinating...eyes. Yes, eyes. I was enthralled. I also understand there was singing and dancing and timely social commentary in there somewhere. I think. Sorry, what?

What a brilliant and original idea! So easy, when all the music and basic story was written for you by someone much more talented! And such pithy commentary on the Internet!

Its almost as creative as that Lego video game video, though both could have used some Star Wars references to insure audience recognition.
