unfortunately, no matter how good the tattooist's technique is all the tiny negative space between the black elements will slowly close up due to the nature of the tattoo aging process.depending on the skin, health and sun exposure of the recipient these will all look pretty lousy in 5-15 years. a well designed tattoo takes this into account so 30 years from now your work is still clearly readable and easily refreshed if needed.
