This Batman Fan Film is How All Batman Movies Should Be Made

Hollywood, take note: this is what a Batman movie is supposed to look like.

  • Very gritty and dark.

  • Villains are true psychopaths barely functional even in their own worlds.

  • A seamless, carefully-written script.

  • No glitzy stunts, special effects, or gadgets that try (and fail) to distract from the absence of a good story.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that, with the exception of Mask of the Phantasm, this fan film is the greatest Batman movie ever made.  Warner Bros. should immediately hire its creators, Aaron and Sean Schoenke, to turn it into a feature-length presentation.

UPDATE: Nerd Bastards has more production information about this film. Here's an interesting bit: it only cost $27,000 to make.
