Nicolas Denton went to Walt Disney World with his family. For the Hollywood Studios Star Wars Experience, he dressed up as Kylo Ren. When a couple of Stormtroopers saw him, they went right on duty, escorting him around the park, parting the crowd, leading him right into the Launch Bay their, past crowds of visitors in line, and right into the presence of a much-taller Kylo Ren!
You shouldn't use dangerous weapons while hunting Pokémon in real life, because you're more likely to harm the little critters you're hunting than capture them.
Cosplayer Marie-Claude Bourbonnais is so much more than just a beautiful face and a sexy costume- she's a truly talented costume designer and a crafty fabricator too.
Recently she created a costume that showcases all of her skills and makes her look amazing too, based on the anime character Rachnera from the series Monster Musume.
She “wore” the costume at Anime Expo 2016, although as you can see she can't really move in it once she's seated inside, and people began to bow down to the new queen of epic cosplay!
Marie crafted the arachnid abdomen and legs from scratch, starting with a fiberglass base which was covered with auto body filler so Marie could add sculpted details.
The whole thing was then sanded smooth and painted much like you'd paint the body of a car, with a nice glossy clear coat added on top of the paint job to make the whole thing pop.
Batman has been in close calls with the police, who haven't always seen him as an ally. He has always gotten away, though, through his skilled use of precision tools, such as the batarang.
But Batman's luck ran out on Monday. Police in Seattle say that officers were summoned to a bar one evening when a man began swinging an improvised spear (a knife tied to a stick) at a bar employee. He fled when police arrived. While they chased him, the suspect threw a batarang at a police SUV, which became embedded in the body of the vehicle.
Last week, Zeon Santos and I experienced the delightful, chaotic mobbing of geekery known as San Diego Comic Con. As always, some people went all out creating amazing costumes to celebrate their favorite movies, tv shows, comic books and video games, so as always, we took tons of pictures of those cosplays to share with you here at Neatorama. So here goes:
My personal favorite costumes this year were this Alien and his little brother, the Predator. These two couldn't have been more than 8 and 6, respectively, and the crowd loved them.
This incredible Xiall from Court of the Dead makeup was put together by Cig Neutron, a former Face Off contestant, and his talented model and partner, Rannie Rodil.
If you love costumes featuring stupid puns though, then perhaps you'd enjoy this group of "Slashers."
I got to see a real life barbarian this year, so that was pretty cool.
When it comes to beautifully detailed costumes, it's hard to beat this lion portrayed by Jo Skellington who even had sratches and scars carved into the fur on his body. Anyone know where he's from?
Steve Buscemi has a very unique appearance which makes it unlikely he'll ever be mistaken for, say, your uncle Ted, that is, unless Ted is a Buscemi look-alike.
Steve's look naturally makes him stand out in a crowd, and he can't hide his Buscemi eyes for long before somebody notices there's a major movie star in their presence and starts freaking out.
So how come this kid's mom didn't notice when he started replacing family photos in their house with pics of Steve Buscemi? Is she somehow immune to Buscemi's ocular charms?
The guy's sister @claremaura has been documenting the Buscemi invasion in her household and sharing it with the internet, and now that the story has gone viral maybe mom will finally notice?
It's good to have a partner in life who will help you soar to new heights instead of weighing you down with their negativity, but sometimes you've gotta swap out the one you're with to find the right fit.
And according to this comic from Zen Pencils you'll know the Can-Do guy or girl of your dreams the minute you meet them- they'll be the one offering to help you(r heart) soar to the stars!

You know what every single photo taken of a celebrity is missing?
A dude wearing a dinosaur onesie while hanging out with said celeb, that's what, and since Lorenz Valentino owned a onesie and had the Photoshop skills he went to work editing himself into their photos.
Thanks to his skills, and his sweet onesie, Lorenz now hangs out with Macklemore, dates his dream Kardashian, err, Jenner, and poses like a sexy python ready to strike with his "longtime friend" Jennifer Lawrence.

No biggie, just another day in the imaginary life of a dino onesie wearing dude who just happens to be friends with virtually every famous face on the planet.
Office dress codes are a real drag, even with Casual Fridays, but employees who want to keep their jobs are forced to dress accordingly...or are they?
If you go by the experiences of June J Rivas then dress codes don't mean a thing, because when her boss instituted a severe and illegal dress code she replied by cosplaying to work.
June feels the new dress code is aimed directly at her and has filed complaints, but in the meantime she's having fun putting “work cosplay” outfits together which technically conform to the new dress code.
Cosplayers tend to be a mighty creative bunch, so if this dress code battle grinds on for a while June is going to make her boss wish she'd never had a problem with the way June used to dress!
Filmmakers use the production's wardrobe and costumes to help tell their story, which is why they adore slogan t-shirts- because nothing gives a character instant attitude like a tee.
From rude to radical, totally hilarious to merely setting the scene, t-shirts are now used as a cheap and easy way to add visual appeal to a film.
And as you know the NeatoShop has thousands of incredibly cool t-shirts in stock, including many slogan tees from your favorite movies, so check out the NeatoShop for tees that'll make you look like a million bucks!

Conan O'Brien has made it his mission to conquer Comic-Con ever since his show moved to L.A., so now we have show tapings and exclusive figures to look forward to at the event each year.
And when Conan hits the Con he hits it hard, bringing some of his patently unpredictable Coco magic with him, this time in the form of a super suit custom made for his bod by Ironhead Studio.
GIFs are a visual gift to the Users of the Internet, a mini cinematic present for our eyeballs to unwrap in a few seconds flat, but I can't decide if the GIFs created by Sam Cannon are given out of joy or spite.
Sam's mesmerizing and disturbing GIFs can be subtly creepy, extremely whimsical or both, and viewers may find it hard to tear their eyes away from these GIFs even when the subject keeps sending chills down their spine with a stare.
All skits on the convention floor were set up with the other cosplayers, and there was no contact without consent. However, just like the Deadpool movie, some scenes are not for children. -via Tastefully Offensive
Apparently all bikes will be spokeless in the future, since that's how they often appear in sci-fi shows and such, so in an effort to speed us towards the future the Cyclotron has appeared.
The Cyclotron looks like a bicycle straight out of TRON, with built-in lights powered by a self- charging battery, smartphone connectivity, vinyl decals for customization and a modular design.
Riders can attach baskets inside the spokeless rims to carry stuff, and the Wingman child seat system lets you take your little ones along for the ride.
Who knew? The first person to wear a costume to a science fiction convention dates back to the very first science fiction convention in 1939. The idea grew from there when people realized that it was fun, frivolous, and the better the costume, the more the fun. You got attention, made friends, and spread the news that fictional world fandom can bring the real world together.
While I have an extensive history in costumes, I only attended a science fiction convention in costume once. Conventions are a major hassle when you live in the middle of nowhere, while there are many opportunities to use a costume of one sort or another, at various jobs, parties, and when you have children.
