A 61-Year-Old Mom Takes Magic Mushrooms For The First Time

Taking psychedelic drugs was an integral part of Hippie life back in the 60s and 70s, but not everyone who lived through that experimental era took drugs and tripped out.

Some self described “close minded” people didn't dare mess with their minds by taking drugs when they were younger, but as they grow older they start to wonder what they were missing.

So when a clinical yet caring son found out his 61-year-old mom was open to eating Psilocybin 'shrooms he decided to give her a safe (1 gram) dose and record the experience on video, strictly for the sake of research, of course.

I'm surprised she experienced such strong effects considering how small a dose she took, but at least she had fun with this freaky little experiment!

1 gram is not necessarily a small dose. it all depends on the strain and the batch. a 1 gram dose from a strong batch can be stronger than 8 grams of a weak one.

I feel that MDMA is a better choice for first timers of anything (it was for me). Then you have no hallucinations and only warm, pleasant waves of good feeling. It makes for a very good experience for anyone reticent about drugs as a whole.
Since LSD and shrooms have the possibility of a "bad trip" if you're in the wrong headspace, i think MDMA is a better "jump off" as it can be counted on for a positive experience. To quote a friend: "I've never had to try to convince anyone to roll a second time." :)
