Blockbuster Movies Recreated With Stock Footage

Classic movies often become classics because they feature scenes that stick with the viewer, scripts that really speak to the audience, and a mood that moviegoers find moving.

However, every good movie’s appeal ultimately comes down to visual interest, which means most classic movies can be identified solely by visual elements contained in the film.

Dissolve created this fun movie quiz called Scenes You've Seen, featuring stock footage videos clipped together to represent blockbuster movies, tune in and see if you can name all fourteen films!

Yeah I thought the same thing, and I was thinking the whole time "who wouldn't guess these, even without the hint in the beginning?!"

Maybe they need to make another version without the hint, and add some more obscure movies. Perhaps this will inspire someone else to make a better version?

As a film project, this is wonderful! As a quiz... not so much. They gave away the answers in the opening description for each scene. I guessed them all from that alone.

So disapointed..
I'm expecting now the biggest STRUCTURAL gingerbread house. Anybody can slap a couple of slices on a wall, but building a real house with gingerbread is left to be seen. That woudl be a structural challenge...

I sure would like a piece of that house... but it probably is all moldy and rotten now since it's 2009 and almost 2010.

Whats wrong with you guys. Yeah it would be awesome to see a STRUCTURAL gingerbread house. But this is just as hard to build. Your disappointed, your one of those critics that don't know anything, a writer, not an acual builder. I'l like to see you do this. You won't even last a second, won't even know what to make the door out of. So keep your comments to yourself....psh disappointed, I should smack you across the face for saying that.
