Behind The Scenes Photos From David Lynch's DUNE

David Lynch's film adaptation of the Frank Herbert sci-fi novel Dune is one of those movies people either love or hate, there seems to be no middle "meh" ground when it comes to this particular big screen adaptation.

Even Lynch's feelings are torn over this unique flick, claiming it was made around the time he "started selling out", but those who enjoy watching his dark vision of Dune dream of someday owning a sandworm of their own, and maybe one of those sweet black stillsuits...

Here's a collection of behind-the-scenes photos that really show all the hard work, massive sets and amazing fabricated props that went into this epic production, plus you get to see a young David Lynch!

Dune is a very good film, but the visions, internal monologue, etc., were extremely clumsy, forced and ridiculously repetitive. That, cheesy effects, and more, did take the whole film down a notch or two.
