Before you object to the builders' choice of vehicle, remember that the series takes place not in the future, but "a long time ago." Bill Deacon built this interstellar transport out of a 1974 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Classic. It's shown here at Star Wars Celebration IV in 2007.

See that cockpit mounted on passenger-side mirror? It has little action figures of Han Solo and Chewbacca insideOther photos show this car with a TIE fighter hood ornament. I like that, but it's likely to get you pulled over by Imperial forces.
