I was in Cabanatuan two weeks ago on business. I wish I could've visited the POW camp (if it is still there).

I lost at least two of my grandfather's brothers to "the Hike": one was executed as a straggler, the other died from exhaustion and disease upon reaching the camp. One of their cousins survived to tell the tale.
