MobiSante has developed an ultrasound scanning device that can be operated from a smartphone. So instead of simply showing your co-workers printouts of your gestating baby, you can give them a live image!

Wouldn't this be an amazing tool for doctors in remote areas or Third World to use? Solar recharge on the iPhone, and the wand ready to do ultrasounds on all kinds of things!

Excellent. Wish I had the cash, I'd donate a phone and the device to Doctors Without Borders!
