Schools Consider Pay-to-Play Program For Athletics



Pennsylvania schools are considering charging students to play sports. Public schools are facing massive budget cuts and are looking for ways to off-set the cost of some of their programs. The pay-to-play program would essentially charge students a fee of $25 and up, per year, to play a sport. The worry, however, is that disadvantaged kids will be most hurt by this program.
