Kickbee Allows Your Unborn Baby to Update Twitter

Kickbee is a band worn over the pregnant belly that will update your twitter account when your baby kicks.
The application receives the sensor values and analyzes them. When a kick is detected, a message is posted to the social messaging service Twitter via its API (Application Programming Interface). Twitter makes it easy to share these short messages of "I kicked Mommy!" with family and friends, and allows them to be sent as text messages to any mobile phone in the world. The Twitter account can also act as a data log that can be accessed later for visualization or archiving.

OK, I'm not convinced that everyone is as excited about the baby kicking as the Mommy to be is, or would really want a twitter update from your belly. That said, I still think this is cool.  I love the idea of being able to keep a record of kicks. Plus, the ability to log data on kicks might actually come in handy. When I was pregnant with my oldest I had to do kick counts.  This would make that process a breeze.
