Daughter Calls 911 And Turns In Drunk Driving Mom
Jaime Hick's 12-year old daughter called 911 and informed police that her Mother was drunk and driving erratically. The girl and her 10-year old brother were both passengers in the car at the time.
State troopers praised the girl for her quick thinking. This story could easily have ended in a tragedy much worse than an arrest.

Hicks, a resident of Islip, was arrested and charged under Leandra's Law, which makes it a felony to drive drunk with a passenger 15-years-old and under.
