8-year-old Takes Disabled Brother on Triathlon

Noah and Lucas Aldrich are inseparable brothers. Lucas was born with the brain disorder lissencephaly, which affects his growth and development. Lucas does not walk or talk, but thanks to his parents and brother, he gets to do a lot of things able-bodied kids do. Eight-year-old Noah recently entered a youth triathlon, and he took Lucas along. He pulled him on a bicycle, towed him while swimming, and pushed him while running. Sing it with me now: “He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.” See more pictures of Noah and Lucas at Buzzfeed.

... "It was time them to call “Do over!”

I think you accidentally a word there. :-P

Apparently that station's error-prone ways are contagious. Lulz.

We just had a local weather guy pull a wonderful line out this morning. "It's going to be light, as opposed to something heavy." Which is better than opposed to something green or fish or John Adams.

Local news is the best.

All I can think of is that this wouldn't have happened under Ron Burgundy's watch. This clip would have stayed classy all the way through if he was still with them.

I live in San Diego. Believe me, this isn't out of the norm for this newscast.

The independent (non-network affiliate) newscasts have higher ratings. Although the FOX affiliate is a close runner up to the KUSI-51 (independent) juggernaut.
