(YouTube Link)

Black lights are a pretty common part of Halloween party decor these days, so why not enhance your costume with makeup that will make you glow when exposed to those UV rays?

No one will know your secret until the yellow lights go out and that black light bulb starts glowing, and then it's your time to shine!

40 Behind The Scenes Photos From Horror Movie Sets

Making a horror flick sure looks like a lot of fun, at least according to this collection of behind the scenes photos showing cast members clowning around with monster props and costumed creeps.

Movie monsters look far less scary when they're smiling, or taking an off-set coffee break, but the pic showing Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) tearing his prosthetic face off is still pretty darn disturbing despite the goofy expression on his face.

Gangnam Style Halloween Lights

(YouTube link)

Oh, you knew it was going to happen. If everyone else is doing their version of "Gangnam Style," why not a house? I found three videos of homes doing this kind of light sequencing to "Gangnam Style," and I liked this particular home the best.

A Collection Of Vintage Nightmares Called Haunted Air

Musician Ossian Brown, formerly of the group Coil, has released a book called Haunted Air which showcases his collection of creepy photos dating from 1875 to 1955.

I'd like to believe that all of these photos were taken around Halloween, but some of them seem to indicate that the subjects are dressed up for another form of ritual entirely, one that most likely involves the invoking of dark spirits and some sort of sacrifice... *shiver*

Man Inherits Terrifying Clown Collection

(YouTube Link)

When they said "Send in the clowns" I don't think they meant an entire collection made up of over 13,000 pieces, each one more terrifying than the last.

Coulrophobics should stay as far away from this guy's house as they possibly can, because even taking a peek at his collection through the window might cause them to have a nervous breakdown!

Stone Cold E.T. Tries To Order A Cheeseburger

(YouTube Link)

Stone Cold Steve Austin is back and looking quite a bit worse for wear since he retired from the WWE.

Maybe he's not getting enough cheeseburgers in his diet, or else we're witnessing what happens when a pro wrestler gets off the steroids and goes on a strictly fast food diet!

Battle Of The Star Wars Scarecrows

Not so long ago on afront lawn not so far away a battle between good and evil played out between scarecrows, and it was so cool that people took pictures and shared them with the world.

All of the major characters were there, from Luke and Han to Jabba and Emperor Palpatine, and even though they had no facial features they still managed to express their love of Star Wars, and Halloween, through posture and a bit of special effects lighting.

Hay is for horses, and Star Wars themed scarecrows...

Squishy Edible Eyeballs

(YouTube link)

You probably won't be able to recreate these eyeballs just by watching the video, because the products shown won't be familiar outside Japan, and they glossed over the all-important part of creating the pupil and iris. From what I can tell, it's a gelatin recipe with raspberries inside. You'll get a kick out of how they are used! -via Everlasting Blort

Oscar and Tiki Dress for Halloween

C Merry has a dog named Oscar Madison. Oscar was rescued from the streets and his back legs don't work, so he gets around on a set of wheels. Now, how do you dress up a dog on wheels for Halloween? Merry was inspired to make Oscar into Max, the dog who belonged to The Grinch Who Stole Christmas! Poor Max was forced to dress as a reindeer and pull a sleigh full of stolen toys and Christmas trees. Oscar pulls this intricately-decorated handmade "sleigh" attached to his wheels. His sister Tiki is dressed as Drogon, the black baby dragon from the TV show Game of Thrones.

You can see closeups of the details of Oscar's costume at Flickr. Tiki's costume, too!

A Fun Assortment Of Homemade Kid's Costumes

The superstar kids in this gallery are contestants from the Fourth Annual Kiddo Costume Parade, a cavalcade of costumes both homemade and high grade.

There's a little Bowie who really rocks, and Alice stuck in the White Rabbit's house, a more realistic spider boy, and a young Ron Burgundy hanging around a zombie girl scout.

Their parents must be so proud!

Jack-O-Lantern Kitteh Vs. Halloween

Jack-o-lantern kitteh is not amused by your fancy costumes and bags full of candy because he hates Halloween!

Maybe it's because he's always been trapped inside that darn pumpkin, unable to chase birds or scratch on trees, or maybe it's because humans keep coming up and taking pictures of him instead of setting him free.

Whatever the reason, one thing is certain- jack-o-lantern kitteh will do everything he can to abolish Halloween...
