The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride has become a Halloween institution in the City of Angels since it was started four years ago, and each year it gets bigger, better and messier.

This PG-13 attraction provides a free poncho with each ticket purchased because things get a bit wet along the way, and at the end of the terrifying hayride guests have both the In Between maze and the Purgatory side show to look forward to, as well as a food and shopping area to round out your night of horror.

Halloween is such an iconic horror movie that producers and directors are always looking for a chance to make their own version, but so far Rob Zombie is the only one who's been given a chance.

Director Federico D'Alessandro threw his hat in the ring with this video pitch, and from the looks of the animatic his version would have been quite spook-tacular. Too bad we'll never get to see it on the big screen since "talks fell through"...

When daddy suggested dressing up as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf for Halloween his darling daughter gladly agreed on one condition- she wanted to be the wolf.

It looks like daddy is playing two roles-Red and the Lumberjack. I guess it's a good thing he didn't come as Granny!

Alice: Madness Returns is the second installment in an Alice In Wonderland themed video game franchise by America McGee, which features a horrifically dark version of the whimsical world created by Lewis Carroll.

Parent and child costumes don't come much cuter than this-daddy is dressed up as a Tauntaun with a young Han Solo strapped to his back. The costume even had removable guts, and I'm sure it melted the hearts of anyone who saw the duo strutting down the street.

Netherworld is one of the largest and most popular haunted attractions in the U.S., and what sets them apart from the rest is the unique storyline/theme they come up with each year. Cosplayers On Ice is an annual event which lets the cosplay community strap on some skates and take to the ice in costume with their fellow anime geeks.

The event is both a fun way to get together with cosplayers from around Atlanta, Georgia and promotion for the anime convention MomoCon which takes place there in March.
