Criterion's Scariest High-Brow Horror Films
It's hard to be truly frightened by movies full of slasher killings and cheap, jumpy scares, but the movies on Criterion's scariest list deliver the chills where true terror lives- the mind.
Having seen most of these movies I can attest to their terrifying nature, and fans of international films will enjoy them as much as true horror fans who don't mind taking a break from all the teen screams.
