A Terrifyingly Realistic Prop Called The Asylum Door
This is the Asylum Door, a Halloween prop sure to scare the pants off of anyone who dares come a knockin'.
The effect is created by mounting a tablet or portable dvd player screen to a door's window pane, facing the footage forward so the viewer feels like they're looking in on a horrific asylum scene.
You can set it up to play any kind of scary video you'd like, but a hallway or interior scene creates the most convincing illusion.
Try it for yourself and see if anyone is brave enough to open the door...
