The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine two-part episode "Past Tense," which aired in January of 1995, presents Sisko, Dax, and Bashir being accidentally transported to the San Francisco of 2024. It's a city that, like the rest of the United States and much of the world, is wracked by poverty, crime, and tyranny.
The underclasses rebelled against the system in an event called the Bell Riots, led by a man named Gabriel Bell. At least, that's what history taught Benjamin Sisko, who was forced to take Bell's place after that man's accidental death.
Because of one graphic in the episode, we know the precise date of the Bell Riots: August 30, 2024.
