Woman Wakes Up To A Mural On Her Home

Surprise? Nickie Hadley, a resident in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom, woke up to a mural painted on her home. The 50-year-old initially knew nothing about the mural, which was created by street artist Mr. Eggs. "I woke up in the morning and two neighbors were stood outside", she told the Manchester Evening News."I went to the front window, they waved and said 'We love it. I came out and it was there."

The graffiti shows a boy towing a trailer and a plane with a “save our green belt” banner. It turns out that Hadley is part of the Save Tameside Greenbelt group on Facebook, a platform for people who are opposed to the city’s plans for a garden village near Godley Green. Hadley commented on the platform that anybody can put up a poster for the movement at her home. The street artist probably saw the post online and painted the mural.
