This may technically be an ad from Chevrolet, but it's a story that serves as the company's holiday greeting. It involves a 1966 Chevy Impala that hadn't been driven for quite some time. You'll figure out why pretty quickly, and then it's time to get your hankie out.
This video is based on a true story, according the Chevy. Everyone will be able to relate to at least one thing in the video. Anywhere this video is posted, it brings out stories of beloved cars in someone's past, or in a loved one's past. It doesn't have to be a Chevy. -via Fark
Oh, man, I can't believe a car commercial made me cry. Nice car, BTW. Wish they would make that car again for the general population to buy. I think I would buy it, it just looks like a perfect convertible car.

I wish they could make true classic-looking cars again. The more recent Impalas are the best looking ones in 50 years, but still a far cry from this '62, or the earlier Chevy 4-door models.

They don't make em like they used to. And prolly won't ever again. Cars used to be built like tanks. I agree tho, that the old style (more square, art deco-ish) of designing cars is more aesthetically pleasing than the bubbly look of new cars.
