I always thought it was the deaths of Hanna and Barbera that led to the downfall of their company, but not so. I'm a student of animation (and don't pretend to be surprised at that) and I never knew a lot of this. But then, I haven't watched cartoons such as they produced since about 1987. Watch and you'll agree; the times, they are a-changin'.

It's interesting to see the rise and fall of Hanna-Barbera mirrored so many other rise and fall of other companies in many industry sectors.
