These Popular Socks Help Those In Need

Socks are the most frequently requested item at homeless shelters, but the least frequently donated. Bombas co-founder used to pass out packs of socks to homeless people, but then he realized just how great the need is. So, he teamed up with Randy Goldberg to found a company with a buy-one, give-one policy. For every pair of socks customers buy, one pair is donated to the homeless. Already, more than 10 million pairs have been donated.

The socks cost $12 a pair, and are made of high-quality cotton or wool. They don't slip or sag, lack the bothersome seam that usually goes across the toes, and provide support for the middle of the foot. They may not be cheap, but they support a good cause and a great need.
