One of my guilty pleasures is watching Adam the Woo's escapades on YouTube (he has his own channel). He is an Urban Explorer and YouTube personality par excellance and has produced a number of outstanding videos, some of which I have attached below. While he does document filming sites then vs. now (e.g., Beetlejuice), he also explores gravesites, abandoned buildings, theme parks, famous murder sites, and so forth. Sometimes he gets in trouble, as in the big theme parks, and he is definitely guilty of trespassing at times. But if he didn't do these things to bring us the story, who would?
Give his videos a try. Many are unique and almost all are exceptional. His series alone on Disneyland and Disney World is worth the price of admission by itself.
