The Poor Man’s Caviar: Ketchup?

There are many things associated with Valentine’s day, things like chocolate, flowers, candy. Ketchup traditionally isn’t one of them. Heinz is introducing caviar ketchup just in time for Valentine's day to celebrate the brands 150th birthday.

There are only 150 jars available in the UK and you'll have to enter a competition on Facebook to be in with a chance to get one.
75 pairs of tickets are available and the chosen 150 fans will be treated to a special Heinz Ketchup Caviar breakfast menu on Valentine's Day itself (February 14, 2019), along with a glass of champagne to toast the special day.

This kind of makes sense. From prior travels in Europe and the UK I discovered their use of ketchup was radically different than ours. In the US we slather it on rather liberally (to be somewhat polite), while a couple teaspoons or so is all it takes over there.

Too bad it's Heinz though. Del Monte is much better.
