I get MAD at my workplace all the time. I've definitely wished mutually assured destruction on my co-workers more than once.

It's interesting that the article decided to use the term "assured destruction," and not "mutually assured destruction," which was the US military doctrine since the early 60s. The acronym MAD simply sums up everyone's sentiment about nukes.
